This 1961 Gibson Melody Maker has been well played, giving it that coveted vintage look, while still being cared for with great attention.

The serial number places this guitar in the 1961-1962 range. The electronics remain all original, with the exception of a single solder touch-up where a ground wire came loose.

The "lightning bolt" wraparound bridge is a reproduction, which ensures proper intonation, particularly with wound G strings. The tremolo arm is also a reproduction part. All other hardware is original to the guitar.

The neck is straight, and the truss rod has ample room for future adjustments.
