About this item

Takamine GY11ME New Yorker All Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Guitar

The Takamine GY11ME New Yorker is a compact acoustic-electric guitar with an all-mahogany construction that delivers a warm, focused tone with plenty of character. Its smaller New Yorker body is comfortable to play while still providing a clear, full sound that works especially well for fingerstyle, light strumming, songwriting, and acoustic performances.

The mahogany top, back, sides, and neck give the GY11ME a smooth, woody tonal character, while the laurel fingerboard provides a comfortable playing surface. For amplified playing, Takamine’s TP-4T electronics offer convenient onboard tone control along with a built-in tuner, making it ready for rehearsals, performances, and recording.
